Our intrepid students explored themes of journalism, media, popular activism, Constitutional law, and policy change on the state and federal levels. Students visited significant sites at our national capitol, heard testimony from regional student leaders in the Senate building met with representatives of the March For Our Lives movement, enjoyed an exclusive panel of MSD student journalist/survivors at the Newseum, and expanded their knowledge of the many ways in which popular civic activism defines the American promise of "liberty and justice for all."
We invite you to encourage the young people in your communities with coalition building and recognition of their power in our representative democracy "BE THE CHANGE."
As we embrace the adage of our inspirational trailblazing leaders, please support our students in popular action http://www.coalitionz.org
